This picture was taken today 5 years ago in Luderitz. It shows “our” Zoe, the very first dog spayed in Luderitz by Have a Heart, on the way to Dr. Maya and Dr. Baines.
Zoe is very much loved by her family, who found her as a little hungry puppy, adopted her and – because as a low income family they weren’t able to afford the spay costs – asked Have a Heart for help. The family knows there is a overpopulation crisis and there a many homeless puppies out there and they didn’t want Zoe to have any puppies adding to it!
Her family was and is still very thankful that Zoe got all she needed to become a happy and healthy dog and they take her regularly for anti parasite treatment and – if needed – for a booster vaccination.
Zoe is a friendly, happy and healthy dog and we are very thankful that Have a Heart is able to support her family and her with the so important sterilisation, vaccination and anti parasite treatment!
