During the last spay days in Kamanjab, Wagter was brought to Dr Baines and his team from the Mobile Animal Clinic – Namibia. His family was very worried about him, he had a deep and infected cut.
Because of our emergency funds from Animal-Kind International, Dr Baines was able to help Wagter, clean the wound and stitch it up. Of course Wagter was also neutered, vaccinated, received vitamins and pain medication and was treated against parasites!
Wagter also received strong antibiotics for the next two weeks and when Dr Baines phoned Wagter’s family a few days ago to find out how he is doing, his family send a picture and reported that Wagter is happy and running around and is taking his antibiotics
This is one of the many reasons, why we all have to make sure, Have a Heart will be able to keep on helping the less fortunate dogs and cats and their families!
Not only Wagter escaped a terrible and painful death, his family – who had no other way to get help for Wagter except for asking us – was desperate for their beautiful boy and is now beyond thankful!
Thank you so much to every single one who is part of Wagters second chance in life!!!
