Today is the 13th World Rabies Day – the theme is ‘vaccination’. Have-a-Heart is working towards the Global Strategic Plan to end human deaths from dog-mediated rabies by 2030, by vaccinating all dogs and cats we sterilize against rabies. Rabies is one of the oldest and most terrifying diseases known to mankind. Despite being 100% preventable, the disease kills one person every nine minutes of every day
