Jakkals

Little Jakkals is from Henties Bays’s township Omdel and was a bit unlucky – he swallowed a fish hook!

His owners asked for help and thanks to Feed a Paw ProjectMadelaine Strydom, Jakkals had emergency treatment at the Swakop Vet Clinic and after that, he enjoyed a hospital-full-board-and-room-service-stay to recover for a few days at Tierschutzverein Swakopmund (SPCA)

Of course once “in our hands” Jakkals was also neutered, vaccinated and treated against parasites via Have a Heart – in other words, he got the full service!

But being over 70 kilometers away from home didn’t make him the happiest boy… so when Jakkals was ready to go back home, Dr Winterbach from Swakop Vet Clinic turned into Jakkal’s personal Uber driver and made sure Jakkals had a 5 ***** ride back home to Henties.

And because it’s always “saftey first”, Tierschutzverein Swakopmund (SPCA) dressed Jakkals with a brandnew harness for his trip.

Jakkals is beyond happy to be back home and we love the fact so many work together to help little Jakkals from Omdel’s township!
