Paper work…

Every animal we sterilise is provided with a passport, with full details of vaccinations and treatments received. This means owners can ensure their pets are brought back to us for the all important yearly vaccinations and health checks. Have-a-Heart animals are kept healthy and our admins are kept very busy  Thank you admin team!

Next Roadtrip!

We are getting ready to hit the road again, from the 9th August until the 13th August we will be holding spay days in Otjiwarongo with HaveaHeart Otjiwarongo, Outjo with Have-a-Heart Spay and Neuter Project, Kamanjab and Khorixas. We would like to help as many dogs and cats as possible during this trip – anyone who would like to make a donation can do so using the bank details pinned to the top of our Facebook page and use the preferred town’s name as a reference. Donation confirmations can be sent to:

Please support us in making a difference to the lives of township dogs and cats.

Today we celebrate 1,000 likes on Facebook!!! Thank you to all our supporters!

We would like to take this opportunity to remind people of our aim:

Providing free spay/neuter and vaccination services to dogs and cats living in low and no income communities across Namibia, with the ultimate goal of reducing stray animal populations – without the need for mass euthanasia. Low income is classed as N$2,000 or less. We are only permitted to provide free sterilisations to such communities – this is a regulation set out by the Namibia Vet Council.

We are dependent on donations and as our running costs are covered, every dollar of every donation is spent entirely on sterilisation, vaccination and parasite control costs.

Donkeys and horses…?!

On our travels across the country we see many horses and donkeys brought to the Mobile Animal Clinic by concerned owners wanting veterinary help for various problems. Thanks to donations from our long-term sponsor Animal-Kind International, we are able to provide this kind of help, something which falls outside of our main aim of spay and neuter. Thank you Animal-Kind International!!

International donors can make a donation through Animal-Kind International using the link below – 100 % of these donations come to us:

Henties Bay……

Sadly our Henties Bay spay days have been postponed due to a lack of funds. But Henties’ animals will not be left out! We will hold spay days there later in the year when more funds have been raised – anyone wanting to make a donation specifically for Henties can use ‘Henties’ as a reference when donating via EFT.
