Today is WORLD SPAY DAY!!!And we want to celebrate every single spayed (or neutered of course) dog and cat in Namibia and world wide! <3 We also want to celebrate every single person in Namibia and world wide who is bringing their part in making the world a better place, be it as responsible owner making sure your dog or cat is spayed, as volunteer with Have a Heart or any other spay program, as donor and supporter, as advocate or in any other way. We had another successful spay day in Henties Bay where Dr Winterbach and Nurse Sheelagh sterilised, vaccinated and gave parasite control treatment to 13 dogs and two cats! We would like to give you some good news to end this week on a happy note! 🙂January always starts slow and we haven't had many spay/neuters, but we are thankful to welcome a total of 38 dogs and cats into the Have a Heart family:3 cats and 15 dogs have been operated at the Swakop Vet Clinic! Thank you Swakop Vet Clinic and also Feed a Paw Project - Madelaine Strydom - for choosing the lucky ones <3Gobabis Veterinary Practice had 11 Have a Heart cats visiting in January - Thank you Gobabis Animal Rescue for choosing the lucky ones <3and last but not leastIn Rehoboth 3 dogs and 6 cats received the full Have a Heart Service at Aanwo Olivier Animal Clinic <3 Rehoboth was a town always high on our priority list and when the Animal Clinic last year managed to operate a whooping 78 animals in only three month, we knew if there is one thing desperately needed in Rehoboth - it's spay and neuter. We have big dreams for Rehoboth for 2021 and we are happy C.A.P.U. in Windhoek is busy with some fundraising plans and hopefully countless dogs and cats in Rehoboth will be able to join the Have a Heart family this year!We wish everyone a fantastic week and watch this space for more good news to come! ...
